Yoga

Some days, when we have worked very hard, we get to do some yoga to relax our body and mind.
We take off our shoes and move our tables, so we have lots of space to stretch.
We are nice and calm after!

Christmas Time!!

Christmas really is our favourite time of year!!!
 We had a very busy December, we performed our Christmas Concert for our parents, we made lots of arts and crafts in our classroom and we had a surprise visit from Santa and his elf!
 He even gave us all a lollipop for being very good children!

Reading Buddies!

In November we started Reading Buddies in our class. During this time our friends in 5th Class come to visit our classroom and half of our class go to visit 5th Class. Our Buddy reads to us, asks us questions about our story and helps us to read on our own! We love Reading Buddies!!

Aistear

We love to learn through play in our classroom. It gives us an opportunity to use our imagination, have conversations and be creative. We love to make models from junk art, play in the sand area, act out in the role-play area and small world area.
 We take turns to play at the different stations so everybody gets a turn.

Dog's Trust

In October a lady from Dog's Trust came to visit us. She taught us about how to meet a dog safely and what to do if you are scared of a dog:

1. Stand still like a statue
2. Do the X Factor
3. Stay calm and look away.
4. Walk away slowly.

We got lovely stickers and posters for our classroom.
