Pancake Tuesday!

We love Pancakes! On Pancake Tuesday we learned a poem about how to make pancakes and tasted delicious pancakes in class. We put sugar and lemon on our pancakes!

Ten Stars!!!

January

The children worked very hard at freezing when the bell rings and lining up nicely this month.
After each break two stars are awarded to the best classes at lining up. When a class receives ten stars they receive a reward of their choice and guess what............We earned our ten stars!! The children voted on a Teddy Bear Popcorn Party as a reward. It was great fun!
Well done boys and girls!

Maths Week

Maths Week took place during the month of October. Thank you to the parents who came into our classroom for maths activities. We had lots of fun playing games and learning about numbers, colours and shapes!

Autumn Trees

Autumn Time!

Autumn was a very busy season in Junior Infants. We did lots of art. We made hedgehogs from clay. We put on googly eyes and used matchsticks to make the hedgehogs prickly spikes!

We made lovely autumn trees. We used red, yellow, green, orange and brown crepe paper to make the autumn leaves.
We learned a lovely autumn song. It was called 'Autumn Leaves are Falling down'.
